Every one of these includes the prep and the correction. That's not an upsell we hold back — it's the part that decides how the finished car looks.

Light ceramic coating

From$899 LastsUp to 1 year Manufacturer-rated, professionally applied and maintained. Final quote after we've inspected the car.

Our entry into proper paint protection — and still a big step up from anything you'll get out of a bottle. The correction work is where most of the day goes; the coating locks that finish in so it stays that way.

  • A thorough wash and full paint decontamination
  • Single-stage paint correction to cut back swirls and wash marks
  • Coating on all painted panels, wheel faces and side glass
  • Windscreen water-repellent treatment included
  • Aftercare guide, plus a free three-month wash and coating check

Premium ceramic coating

From$1,099 LastsUp to 3 years Manufacturer-rated, professionally applied and maintained. Final quote after we've inspected the car.

The step up. More hours on the machine and a heavier coating on top, so the finish goes further and holds longer. This is the one we'd point you at for black, dark grey or any colour that shows every mark.

  • Everything in the light ceramic package
  • More correction time — we chase down the deeper marks
  • A thicker, harder-wearing ceramic layer
  • Better gloss, better water behaviour, longer life
  • Ideal for darker paint, where every swirl shows
03 · Longest protectionDeep gloss and mirror reflections in a freshly coated door panel

Graphene coating

From$1,499 LastsUp to 5 years Manufacturer-rated, professionally applied and maintained. Final quote after we've inspected the car.

Graphene is the best protection we offer. It handles Wellington's sun, salt air and rain better than a standard ceramic, spots less, and stays slick for years. If you're keeping the car, this is the one that pays for itself.

  • Everything in the premium ceramic package
  • A graphene coating — our longest protection
  • Better heat handling and less water spotting than ceramic
  • Slicker surface, so dirt struggles to stick to it
  • The one to get on a car you're keeping

About those durability figures

Light Ceramic (GYEON Q² CanCoat EVO) — manufacturer-rated for up to one year when professionally applied and maintained in accordance with the recommended aftercare programme. Actual durability depends on vehicle use, storage, environmental exposure and maintenance. This is a durability rating, not a warranty period.

Premium Ceramic (GYEON Q² Mohs EVO Light) — manufacturer-rated for up to three years when professionally applied and maintained in accordance with the recommended aftercare programme. Actual durability depends on vehicle use, storage, environmental exposure and maintenance. This is a durability rating, not a warranty period.

Graphene Coating — manufacturer-rated for up to five years when professionally applied and maintained in accordance with the recommended aftercare programme. Actual durability depends on vehicle use, storage, environmental exposure and maintenance. This is not an unconditional five-year warranty.

Every figure on this page is the manufacturer's own rating for the product we actually use, not our estimate.

Whatever the figure, it assumes the car is looked after: washed properly, not left sitting under sap or bird mess for weeks, and brought back for its three-month check.

If a coating fails early because of how we prepared or applied it, that is on us and we will put it right. That is your right under the Consumer Guarantees Act, it applies whatever any warranty says, and nothing on this page limits it.

“Recently had my 2020 honda hrv ceramic coated by them. I am very happy with the results. My car looks brand new with paint protection now. I recommend dont buy a new car yet, let them have it paint corrected and protected, the results will make you refrain from buying a new car.”

Coating questions

Things people ask us

What decides the final price?

Three things: how big the car is, what condition the paint is in, and how much correction it needs to get where we want it before the coating goes on. A well-kept hatch sits near the “from” price. A large 4x4 with years of swirls sits above it. We'll give you the real number once we've seen it — and we'll tell you before we start, not after.

How long will the coating last?

The ceramic and premium ceramic give you years of protection with normal washing — ask us for the exact figure and we'll give you what the manufacturer confirms. The graphene is manufacturer-rated for up to five years, professionally applied and maintained. All of them last longer if you wash the car properly — we'll show you how, and we're happy to look after the maintenance washes for you.

Can you coat a brand-new car?

Yes, and it's the ideal time. New paint still isn't perfect — cars pick up marks in transport and on the yard — so we still correct it first. Coating a new car means it never gets the chance to look tired.

Do you coat wheels, glass and trim?

Wheel faces, glass and exterior trim get treated as part of the coating packages. If you want the barrels off and coated as well, tell us when you book and we'll price it in.

What do I need to do afterwards?

Let it cure — no washing for about a week, and keep it out of the rain for the first day if you can. After that, wash it with a pH-neutral shampoo and two buckets. No automatic car washes, no dish soap. We'll go through all of it when you pick the car up.

Let's do it properly Ready to get it coated?

Pick your package and a day that suits. We'll confirm the final quote once we've had a proper look at the car.
